A new journal.

I've totally fallen in love with this book.  It's a journal made from one (large) sheet of paper which I'll be teaching in a few weeks time to the Mozaik group.

The cover features a house cut from some of the papers on the Brittannia cd by Sarah Hurley.  As it's my turn to host the challenge on the challenge blog I thought I'd use my journal as inspiration to the challenge which is entitled 'Home'.

A tip here if you want to use digital papers for small scale projects like ATC's or small images like my paper pieced house, open up an A4 sized canvas in photoshop, drag all the papers you want to use over onto it and scale them to size on the sheet.  That way you fit more onto one sheet of paper plus you get the papers you want in the size you need.  If I'd have printed the papers off and used them as they were, the patterns would have been far too big for my project.

I used the Brittannia cd for my papers but now you can get all your favourite background basics on a new cd here. All those dots, chevrons, stripes etc in all colours of the rainbow in one handy place.

These are the inside pages all ready to go and I'll be showing the ladies of the Mozaik group how to get started.

If you want to see what the rest of the dt came up with or join in my challenge go here to the challenge blog.
