What a bad bad blogger I have become, it's been ages. Well to try and make it up here are a few things I've been up to over the past week or so.
I've been creating lots of things but one of the drawbacks of Design Team work and articles for magazines is that I can't show and tell here, so that'll just have to wait and you'll have to take my word for it that I've been busy, ok?
First up, my little Easter bunny has been made into a PDF tutorial for download on the Craft Academy web site. I've added a few more pictures to go with it. Even though Easter has come and gone it's still a fun project to do with the kids in this last week of the holidays.
I also made this little box to hold eggs but completely forgot to show it. It's made with Sarah Hurley's Easter papers again, they're just so cute.
I also sent out some ATC's for a swap on the Mini Books site which were Carnival themed. I think everyone has received theirs now so I can show you here. I made one big master board using sprays and stencils then cut it up into atc sized pieces and stamped the mask onto them.
Good Friday, I made hot cross buns. They don't look very pretty but toasted they were pretty good. I didn't hear any complaints.
Also on friday, I went to a local second hand store where I usually go to find old books, and stuff I can use in my art work and this was sitting with the furniture. I fell in love instantly and with some encouragement from my daughter about being able to get it into the car, I bought it. It's so cute and dates from 1900. It works too which is superb, all it needs is some tlc.
Anyway, happy Easter holidays and I'll be back soon - promise.
