Scrap canvases.

As promised before Christmas, here are the canvas pictures. The first three were printed onto inkjet fabric. I've truly fallen in love with this stuff and intend to use it alot more.

Sneaky peek!!

I thought I'd give you a sneaky on this canvas which has been posted off to it's destination because I feel fairly sure the recipient won't be looking here between now and Christmas (A Grandma - not totally blog savvy).

I 've decided to enter it into a new challenge site (for me anyway) called Creative Inspirations.
http://creativeinspirationschallenge.blogspot.com/ They're also looking for new DT members so you never know!!

Christmas tags

I just thought I'd show you some tags I've completed before they go off attached to their gifts. I used a background technique shown by Tim Holtz on his blog
http://www.timholtz.typepad.com/ where he is running a 12 Tags of Christmas challenge.

Domestic Goddess, that's me!

Domestic Goddess - that's me!! Well, not all the time. Today certainly wasn't one of those days as I struggled with the undecoratable christmas tree which in the end I decided was all bottom and no top - story of my life really!

Anyway, the arch is for Gothic Arches challenge this week and managed to put a smile back on my face.

Remembering the summer.

As temperatures drop here in Luxembourg and some parts have seen some snow flakes, I'm sitting here by the fire, laptop on my knee, looking at photo's and remembering the summer just past.
This layout is remembering my youngest daughters first ride on a rollercoaster with her two elder sisters and best friend at the fair. She was terrified and really reluctant to go on, but with some encouragement she did and had an amazing experience.

Canvases finished.

I've now completed 5 mixed media canvas projects which I can only show as sneaky peeks as they are destined to be Christmas presents and there is a chance the recipients will be looking!
They involve, lots of machine stitching, fabric, paper, buttons and Grungeboard shapes and after Christmas I'll be able to post them here in full.

Scrappy Accents design team.

I'm so happy to announce that I've been invited to join the design team at Scrappy Accents.

They're a wonderful bunch of people with papercrafting at their heart.

I look forward to taking on the role from January 1st where there'll be scrapbooking sketch challenges, chat, and inspiration.

Jingle bells jingle bells, jingle all the way........

The last Inchy by Inch theme for this year is a favourite Christmas Carol, well the one song which is constantly in my head at the moment is Jingle Bells. It's going around in my brain from morning to night and is quite frankly becoming a little annoying!!

Anyway, it had to be the subject of my inchy and so here it is with a sleigh topper rescued from a Christmas card last year. Good bit of recycling!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride on a one horse open sleigh
Oh Jingle bells jingle bells..........etc etc

Now it's in your head too!

Regal arch.

Here's my gothic arch this week for the theme "Regal ladies". Done digitally mainly because my work surface is covered in die cuts for Christmas cards and canvases drying!

Happy St Nick weekend to everyone in Continental Europe.

More Triptich pics.

In reply to a question about the Triptich, I've added some more pictures to show the tags in more detail and to show that the doors do indeed close.
